Community Drop
Introducing our Community Drop coffee - an initiative in partnership with Laundry Gallery and Troppo Film Lab, to support Our Life, Our Lens!
We’re motivated to help foster a community around coffee and to support people through doing what we love. You can see this reflected in everything we do, from our brand motto - Sow Coffee, Grow People - to the coffees we purchase and the brands we align ourselves with.
We’ve been working on our Community Drop coffee in the background for months now, and we’re excited to finally be releasing it. We see it as a more direct representation of our commitment to support the communities we so care about.
We’re proud to be partnering with Nina Fitzgerald, through her gallery, Laundry Gallery, and Troppo Film Lab, both based in Darwin. Sales of our Community Drop will directly support the collaborative Our Life, Our Lens program, which uses film photography to champion the stories of the next generation of elders, and create positive change in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. It does this by providing the tools and the means for young people to develop skills in photography, collaborate and share their own perspectives - unbiased and unfiltered.
$6 from every 250g bag and $24 from every 1kg bag of Community Drop sold will be donated directly to the Our Life, Our Lens program.
We believe in the power of photography to create positive change in remote Indigenous communities of the Northern Territory.
